National Certified Licensed Massage Therapist through the Florida Department of Health and the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Joshua received his Massage Therapy training from Florida College of Natural Health in Pompano Beach, Florida where he went through throrough training all many modalities of massage and human anatomy. He continues to further his education by taking Continuing Education classes required to maintain licensure in massage therapy. He takes courses that will further his knowledge in the field so that he can continue treating his clients with new and up and coming therapy treatments.
Joshua's practice philosophy is that when the human body has limited movement, there is limitations to the quality of life you can live. Taking a quote from Ida Rolf, founder of Rolfing Technique or Structural Integration, "Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself."
Joshua became a massage therapist because he had the gift to heal people with his hands, which he is often told are, "Magic Hands." He gives he Mind, Body and Soul to his clients that need his abilities to heal and continue with everyday life.
Joshua grew up in northeast New Jersey, until the age of 19 when he and his family moved to Boca Raton, Florida where he still resides. He attended Florida Atlantic University, where his main focus of study was psychology. He worked in retail management for 9 years, until he found his path in life through the field of massage therapy. He enjoys his free time watching/playing sports such as baseball, golf, basketball and swimming. He also enjoys the beach, watching movies and educational programs on t.v. As well as always keeping up with what is going on in the massage therapy World and conversing with other therapists to receive advice or give it. His goals are to work hard building his private business and in the future, earn a name for himself within the massage therapy community.
